Summer Events @ the Zoo!

The Birds + the Bees (Saturday 6th July 2019)

An “adult only” night to explore our growing understanding of the amazing spectrum of animal sexual behaviour. Forget what you thought you knew! Sexuality and gender expression in the animal kingdom is exuberant, varied and opulent!

16+ only event. Late night opening from 18:00PM to 22:00PM. Includes access to the zoo (inc. talks and guided tours), barbeque food and a free glass of wine. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.

ADULTS: £15.00 / CONCESSION: £12.50 / ANNUAL PASS HOLDERS: £6.00

Summer Evening ZOO-BQ’s*

Experience a whole new side to the zoo through our Summer Zoo-BQ’s. With additional talks, tours and displays, we promise it will be a memorable evening for the whole family!

*Alternating Saturday’s throughout July and August! Standard admission rates apply 10:00AM-17:00PM. Extended opening rates listed below include access to the zoo until 21:00PM and barbeque food. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.

12:00PM – Lemur Lunch in our walkthrough lemur enclosure!
13:00PM – help us feed our mob at the Meerkat Feed
15:30PM – Potoroo Picnic in our tropical hall!

Weekends & School Holidays (w/c 22nd July 2019)!

11:30AM – Meet the Reptiles; talk and handling session in our Tropical Hall!
12:00PM – Lemur Lunch in our walkthrough lemur enclosure.
13:00PM – help us feed our mob at the Meerkat Feed.
14:30PM – Bug Encounter; talk and handling session in our Butterfly Hall.
15:00PM – learn about our big cats at the Snow Leopard Talk 
15:30AM – Meet the Reptiles; talk and handling session in our Tropical Hall!
